It is good to cry

Sometimes I wonder as to what is it that we really want?

- Is it Money?
- Or, is it Recognition?
- Or, is it something more than that?

We were told that howsoever bad situations may become, it will all end sometime, someday. Maybe it is just about to end, you never know!
Why are we working so hard? Why is it that you are reading this? Why is it that people love to hear from someone they admire? Why are we doing things?

Everybody knows that they WILL die, then “why so serious”? Am I the only one who cares about my future and my ‘potential’ family, which I have no idea of at this juncture?

It is fairly possible that humans were coded to be an ‘animal’ (like a dog) to their master. A human-dog that is capable of depicting sense and emotion and care for its future. Though, we successfully evolved (from a dog) into a human. But you know, a dog remains a dog!
I think that humans, today, are still faithful to their respective masters. However, there are some humans, who dare to become the masters, foregoing their human spirit. Such ambition…

Is it only because of “money” or “recognition” or “that something else” that people dare to forego their ethics and innocence?
Have you seen a crying child...? Does he cry because he is in pain, or because he knows that someone will relieve him of his pain?...

…I cannot help but choose the latter.

My mother used to say “Have you ever seen an F-grader student cry? It is only the A-graders who cry”. Therefore, I think it is good to cry, it shows that you did try.

It is only till we believe and hope that everything will become fine, we cry,
for the reason that it shows that we did try.

Why is it that when people are lost, say on an isolated island, some tend to live while some die?
It is only till we believe and hope that everything will become fine, we cry,
for the reason that it shows that we did try.

It is never too late to come back into life and do what you please, not for money, not for recognition, but for sheer love and passion,
Though, there may arise some difficulties which make you cry, but remember…
It is only till we believe and hope that everything will become fine, we cry,
for the reason that it shows that we did try.

But, never let that innovative and passionate spirit die in you, for if it dies,
the belief and hope that everything will become fine, too will die,
for the reason that it shows that you did NOT try...

It takes SOMETHING, to be that SOMEONE...

To be ‘a someone’, is actually not a bad place to be in. You can do things that you have never thought of doing, and even if you did not succeed, no one would care about your casualty. Probably, you have to keep trying until either: ·          You are good at it, or ·          You are just bored of it. ‘To do’ is to observe; ‘to observe’ is to understand and ‘to understand’ is to take one step ahead!               Keep moving until you reach a road with no footprints on it. You will surely think of making that U-turn… but No, you have to be positive. But, WHAT IF a wolf kills you ahead; WHAT IF a car hits you; WHAT IF you die! You could be that someone.                               So, keep moving until you reach a road with no footprints on ...

You are the Change

John’s mother asks him as to where did he get his expensive shoes from? John had shoplifted that day. However, he tells her mother that a friend gifted him those. Mother somehow guessed that John has stolen the pair and tells him that she knows the truth and that he may fool the world but not himself… Nice story with a certain moral value. It is not John’s mother, but John himself who is being fooled, maybe not now but in his future endeavors. Why this story is important? ... Because I believe we all become John for one or the other thing in life, many a times. But what is worse is that most of us do not know that! Nichiren Daishonin , a form of Buddhist practice focuses on the law of action and it consequences. According to their belief, it is only our actions or in-actions that are responsible for the consequences in life and they believe in it with full heart and passion. However, one’s perception of an ideal future, that he wants to see in the world, is amazingly diffe...
